Final Major Project
Bright Florals

Like many people over lockdown I have found myself with a lot of time on my hands but without many places to go. So I decided to work on a mini-project for myself. At university, our projects are usually focused on quite unique concepts. Therefore I have never really created floral prints. However with the garden being one of my main sources of inspiration I thought now was a perfect time. I really wanted to push myself and recreate as many different florals as I could. Experimenting with colour, different mediums and drawing styles.

Healing Herbs
I designed these prints for a child's bedroom space. The collection was designed to be sold at the science museum in London. Therefore I wanted to focus on an element that was found in the museum. I chose to look at herbal and medicinal plants to create contemporary pieces. I wanted to use lots of colours and add in little people so it was appealing and fun for children while still being unique so the parents would want to purchase it.

Pretty Purples

This was a mini-project about creating contemporary fun prints for women's wear, based on the colour purple. It allowed me to experiment with tone and shades in a very limited colour pallet.
